My wife did extensive training quite a few years ago about.... leadership? conflict resolution? I don't really remember the exact focus, but it did reframe how both of us try to approach things. One of the main tenets was to BE CURIOUS! In the context of the training, that meant rather than leaping to (possibly false) conclusions when someone is irritating or infuriating you, try to take it back down a few rungs, and maybe ask some questions out of genuine curiosity to see what they mean, facilitating good communication. I love the Stay Curious title! And the font too. :-)
That’s great you both could take away such a positive and powerful approach from her training! That says a lot about you two! It’s a good practice I wish more of us followed these days.
